CKC here I come!!!

Tomorrow is CKC! I can't wait. This will be my 3rd time going but the first year I'm not taking any classes. Usually I take anywhere from 11-13 classes over the weekend with some shopping time squeezed in. This year I'm only going to shop. A whole day to stroll through the vendor fair and take my time. I love taking quick quotes classes and I figured I can but the class kits and the fair. I save up all year for this event and I will be going with two friends this time. After we decided to go eat at The Cheesecake Factory. YUM! Their food is awesome.
After all this settles down my DD has her 11th birthday party on Saturday. She wanted a pink DS (which we got her along with a couple of accessories) I will get her a couple of scrapbook goodies as she is staring to create her own albums. Really cool.

I'll post later some of the goodies I get.

Recharged!

Well, I'm back from my trip to Maine. We had such awesome beach weather! I really miss living near the beach. Now it's back to my busy life. I'm sitting my FIL puppy again 3 days a week as he goes back to work. My golden loves this--a playmate.
I made 2 board books this past weekend--my first time. Love it. I made a family one and a shovel and pail one, I'll post pics. later. My two kids classes went well. The 6-9 group made the paper bag album I posted earlier. The 10 and up group made an explosion box. Again I'll post pics later. It was great seeing the kids later on in the weekend and they would say "Hi Julie" and then tell their mom that I was their teacher for the project they did. I will definitely do the kids class again.

Well I'm off to finish another board book. This time the word summer.

Hectic life--the norm

The hectic life around here seems to be the norm. In the last 3 weeks my youngest was sick with a double ear infection and pink eye then a week later my 6yo (after fooling around on the stairs) fell off the stairs and broke his arm near the wrist, so off the the hospital we go and then the orth. ped. Dr for a cast (thankfully waterproof). Just when I thought things were going to settle down some as much as possible with an extra child around (as my niece is visiting for the week and having fun with my daughter) I am now adding into the crazy mixture, babysitting my FIL's puppy for the weekend. My 22 month golden just loves this and the both of them are playing and getting used to each other.
Monday is not much better as my youngest DS has a dentist appt. then I'm off to Maine with my DD to visit my parents (a 7 hr trip). I should hopefully have a couple of days of sand, surf and relaxation and visit a great high school friend! This should be a great trip.

I will definately need it as when I get back I have a weekend camp crop to attend to teach 2 kids classes and then I will be teaching a beach LO to a group of ladies.

I need to squeeze in some creating time to come up with my next class ideas!

Well I'm off to clean house before heading to the pool with all the kiddo's.

New upcoming classes

Here are some pictures of a few of my upcoming classes---

This class is being taught at Riverside Scrapbook in Matamoras, PA on July 12
A 2-page LO and a 4" mini album

This colorful LO was done using Scenic Route Grafton line.

I am also doing a birthday class where we will create two 2-page LO using the frenzy line of papers from WRMK. These LO are fun and colorful.

I am also teaching a kids class at a camp crop in NJ. Here is one of the projects for the younger group. Everything will be precut so they will only have to assemble it---

My start at Blogging!

Well, I'm finally jumping on the bandwagon for blogging. I figured it may help me keep my thoughts, ideas and inspirations together and I can share this with others. My goal is to get some of my LOs and class designs on here and post at least 3x a week.
